Essick Evaporative Coolers

Evaporative cooling is an energy-saving alternative to plant cooling.
These modern day "swamp coolers" surpass the efficiency and design of the old style units.  Evaporative units are a great alternative to the rising costs of conventional air conditioning.  An evaporative cooler produces effective cooling by combining a natural process-water evaporation-with a simple, reliable air-moving system.  Fresh outside air is pulled through moist pads where it is cooled by evaporation and circulated through a house or building by a large blower.  Evaporative coolers use as much as 75 percent less electricity than air conditioners and cost about half as much.
